Lake-enhanced snowfall could leave parts of the North Shore with over a half-foot of snow by the time we wrap up Sunday.
Temperatures look to continue to drop as we kick off the new year despite a fairly sunny weekend
Showers and storms will not bring a washout rain any given day, but precipitation chances will be present each day through next week.
Those scattered rain chances will last through the latter half of the weekend and well into the next workweek.
The storm chances give way to sunny, quiet and cooler weather for the rest of the workweek.
A stray sprinkle is possible Saturday, but otherwise the weekend will be dry. Cooler conditions likely for the first half of the week.
It will be less windy with showers late into Friday night giving way to some more peaks of sun by later Saturday.
We look to turn dry by afternoon, but more rain and storms will return to the region heading into Tuesday.
A dry start on Sunday gives way to some scattered showers and storms into the workweek, with cooler temperatures at times too.
