Rob Beer

FCC Digital Content Manager

Rob Beer is the digital content manager for Forum Communications and writes about sports history. He previously served as the editor of The Rink Live.

A 1993 graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead, he began working for Forum Communications Co. in 1991. He also assists with other content and projects produced by the company.

He has served in a variety of roles with The Forum and Forum Communications, including graphic artist, reporter, copy editor, assistant sports editor, presentation editor and manager of Forum News Service. Early in his career, he was a sports writer for The Journal in New Ulm, Minn., and the sports editor for the Huron (S.D.) Plainsman. He is a native of Princeton, Minn.
