As the snow moves out early this morning, Sunday will be a milder day around the region, with highs climbing through the morning into the low 30s for most. However, by the afternoon we have the breeze shifting a little to out of the west-northwest, and that will drop temperatures into the 20s through the afternoon into the evening.

That drop will be the start of a cooler and active pattern for the Northland, as by Monday morning, winds are getting up to 10-20 mph out of the northwest, and a few flurries may fly through early, but will be spotty through the day. Highs remain in the teens early this week.

Through the week, we keep cloudy skies and temperatures in the teens for much of the region. With this active pattern, we will have the chance for at minimum stray flurries near daily, however accumulations will not amount to much outside of a few more potent chances. One of those chances looks to come midweek, going into Wednesday we have a shortwave moving through the region, before moving out quickly by the end of the week.
