We have a wintry start to the first full week in February, as temperatures stay in the teens for much of the region. A few spots south of U.S. Highway 2 in Minnesota and northern Wisconsin will get the chance for light snow through the morning, bringing slippery conditions for the start of the week for some. Through the day, we also battle a bit of a breeze that stays around 10-20 mph out of the northwest.

Clouds clear by night and much of the area drops below zero, made a little colder by that fresh snow over the weekend weekend. On Tuesday, most will struggle to get out of the single digits, but a little sun will peek through.

We have another chance for measurable snow moving into the region by Wednesday afternoon, with highs hovering around the upper teens. Wednesday will be the main snow-maker, but we are keeping an eye on another chance for snow heading into the start of the weekend.
