OK, let's talk about the post office. I have not received anything in the mail for eight days. Not even ads. Nothing. I am expecting bills. My light bill always comes on the 14th of the month, and I pay it the same day. I am expecting a letter from a friend in Eveleth that she mailed almost two weeks ago.
When the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday approached, I faced the prospect of no mail for at least two more days — if I was to be lucky.

I have called the main post office. That did no good. My neighbor has not received any mail either. The first time I called, the lady said she checked with the post office near 27th Avenue West, and there were a few pieces there, but the mail had already gone out for the day. The next day I called again and got a different lady, and she said she didn't work the floor, and I needed to speak to a supervisor.
I can't go down to the post office in person. I don't drive and just don't feel like walking that far. Is there anybody who is listening and can help?
