Tammi Johnson Inducted into Youth Worker Hall of Fame

Tammi Johnson, of Duluth, joined an elite group of individuals this month when she was inducted into the Youth Worker Hall of Fame. Nominated for Friends of Youth Leadership Award, Johnson was chosen because she stood out as a leader with tireless commitment to youth.
Since 1999, the Youth Worker Hall of Fame includes individuals that go above and beyond in their service to youth in need. Just 101 youth workers have achieved this status.
“Being inducted into the Hall of Fame is a big deal,” said Paul Meunier, Executive Director of the Youth Intervention Programs Association (YIPA). “We know that everyone who devotes their career to helping our young people is a superstar, but Hall of Fame members stand out as incredible people that we should all try to emulate.”
“I feel so honored and blessed to be recognized by my peers as someone who shows up for youth,” said Johnson, program manager and coach for the High-Fidelity Wrap Around Service at Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota. “I love that I get to be someone who I needed when I was young.”
Johnson works with youth and families to identify their needs, strengths and natural supports to accomplish their goals, ensuring that families are at the center of their care plan. Johnson, who brings numerous strengths to her work, recently received accreditation to serve as a High-Fidelity Wrap Around Coach, a rigorous program that took nearly two years to complete. Johnson also provides leadership and guidance to High-Fidelity facilitators to ensure high quality service delivery. Congratulations to Tammi Johnson on this outstanding achievement.
