Suburban Twin Cities forward commits to UMD women

Laura Schuler and the Bulldogs received a verbal commitment on Wednesday from 16-year-old forward Lizzy Callahan out of Mound Westonka High School in the Twin Cities suburbs.

Callahan, a junior, has four goals and two assists through five games this season with Mound Westonka, which co-ops with Southwest Christian. She had 11 goals and 18 assists last year as a sophomore after putting up nine goals and 14 assists as a freshman.

Callahan is the third member of the Bulldogs 2026-27 recruiting class, which could grow to four if Quebec goaltender Marilou Grenier defers her enrollment.
