Ken Larson, a member of Edina Realty and the Lake Superior Area Realtors, has been awarded the Minnesota Realtors’ prestigious 2024 Good Neighbor Award. This recognition celebrates his unwavering commitment to the community through his work with the Northern Lights Foundation.

The foundation, which Larson founded in memory of his newborn daughter Nicole, supports families with children facing life-threatening illnesses. Since its inception in Duluth in 2006, the Northern Lights Foundation has raised over $1 million to support more than 260 families in a time of need, offering hope and financial relief during challenging times.

“There are hundreds of Realtors across Minnesota who dedicate themselves to helping others,” said Larson. “While I feel humbled by this recognition, I accept it on behalf of the many generous donors and volunteers whose compassion and dedication ensure the Northern Lights Foundation continues to make a difference in so many lives.”

As part of the Good Neighbor Award, Minnesota Realtors donated $1,000 to the Northern Lights Foundation, furthering the foundation's mission (NorthernLightsFoundation.org). Larson also donates part of each of his Edina Realty transactions to the foundation.  Additional information about Larson is at EdinaRealty.com/kenneth-larson-realtor/about.
