Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic welcomes OB/GYN specialist Paige Olson  

Paige Olson, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse midwife specializing in obstetrics and gynecology, is thrilled to join the Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic. 

“I chose Essentia because I previously worked here as a labor and delivery nurse when I started in the nursing profession,” said Olson. “I know the outstanding nurses, midwives and doctors and knew I wanted to come back and be a part of the excellent team, culture and care they provide.”

Olson received her education from the University of Washington in Seattle and is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board. 

“I have been in the labor and delivery field for five years and have loved my time as a nurse helping and supporting parents bring new life into the world,” said Olson. “I went on to become a midwife because I love educating patients and learning and expanding my personal knowledge. The power of informed consent in sexual and reproductive health is so important, and I felt called to be a part of providing evidence-based care and education for patients to make the best care decisions for their health.”
