Amsoil Arena video board update: It works.
Clint Austin and I stopped by Amsoil Arena on Tuesday — because we apparently can’t go a single week without stepping foot in the place — to see how the installation of the new video board was going.
We can confirm that it works. And that it looks nice. I was able to clearly read text on the scoreboard from the press box without my glasses. I can’t read this blog post clearly on my Macbook Air without my glasses.
There’s still work to be done and software to tweak, but it should all be ready to go when the Bulldogs women host Syracuse on Jan. 2-3, and the men host Alaska on Jan. 3-4.
