We escape frigid air as we move through week

Temperatures are slowly warming up but we still need another day before we escape temperatures below zero. After a brutally cold morning, we warm up to temperatures right below zero degrees Tuesday afternoon with sunshine. It will, however, still be dangerously cold outside thanks to wind chill values 30-40 degrees below zero.

A chance of snow moves through Tuesday night, then warmer weather really kicks in Wednesday.

Despite cloudy skies, highs get to the mid- to upper teens above zero the rest of the week.
