1. The 'Killer Grandma'

Lois Riess went on a cross-country gambling spree even as she murdered.
2. Andrew Sadek
Andrew Sadek, a son and a college student, was compelled to become a confidential informant for law enforcement, and was later found dead.
3. The Roseau Runestone
Old questions about a mysterious object unearthed in Minnesota more than a century ago get an ancient solution.
4. Anna Marie Korynta

Kari Simmers found her 19-year-old aunt murdered in their downtown Grand Forks apartment in May 1987. Decades later, no arrests have been made.
5. The Reker sisters
The teens left their home to run an errand on Sept. 2, 1974. Their bodies were found weeks later in a quarry. No one has ever been charged. Their mother, Rita Reker, now 88, hasn't forgotten.
