DULUTH — Preparations for the 35th Twin Ports Region Thanksgiving Day Buffet have begun.

Over 700 volunteers prepare over 6,000 meals and deliver approximately 1,200 meals the week of Thanksgiving. The meal features all the trimmings of a traditional turkey dinner with homemade mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, vegetables, dinner roll and cake. The dinner is free thanks to the College of St. Scholastica, donors and community supporters.

The meals prepared for home delivery to Duluth, Superior, Hermantown, Esko, Cloquet and Two Harbors are fully cooked and in individual serving containers.
