Kathleen Mary "Kathy" Patenaude (Hunt) (Brown) passed away peacefully on February 3, 2025, at Viewcrest Hospice in Duluth, Minnesota, at the age of 68.
Helen (Honey) Rizzi passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025. She was born to parents Stojan and Dorothy (Glumac) Griak on February 1, 1931. She attended both Stowe and Morgan Park Schools. Helen worked for the U.S. Census Bureau for 25 years and enjoyed playing softball and volleyball as an amateur athlete for 4 decades.
Donald Kronemann, 2/7/1937 – 1/31/2025. Son, Father, Friend and Mentor to SO many. Visitation will be held Friday, February 28, 2025, from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Care in Cloquet. The visitation will resume on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Memorial Service at Zion Lutheran Church, 1000 Washington Ave., Cloquet, MN. Food will be served at both the visitation and memorial service. All are welcome.
Dennis J. Hackett, 78, of Duluth passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 29, 2025, at Keystone Bluffs-Assisted Living. He was born on October 6, 1946, in Duluth MN to Rosemary and Archie Hackett. He was a graduate of St. James Catholic School and Denfeld High School class of 1965. He is an Eagle Scout and received the St. George Award for scout leadership. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the Presidential Flag Ship, USS Northampton CC1. His previous work included Duluth Avionics, U.S. Steel, Diamond Tool and Horseshoe Co, Walco Transport, Hegstrom Funeral Home. He was an active member of St. James Catholic Church and served on its Pastoral Council and chairperson of the Connections building fund. He had previously helped as a volunteer at St. James Church as the editor of the weekly bulletin.

Robert F. Mohn, 88, of Virginia passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Chisholm.
Keith Bannatyne Lodge, 77, died in St. Lukes ICU on Nov. 12th, 2024. Keith had just returned home from visiting family in the United Kingdom when he developed pneumonia which progressed to septic shock. His family is stunned and heartbroken by his unexpected passing.

Christine Ann Pinsonnault, age 74 of Mt. Iron, died peacefully Sunday morning, January 19, 1925, at Essentia Health, Virginia. She was born on Sept. 9, 1950, in Virginia, the daughter of Frank and Suoma (Uoti) Linval. She was a graduate of Mt. Iron High School and attended Lake Superior College in Duluth. She married Rene J. Pinsonnault in Sioux Falls, SD on Aug. 29, 1970. Christine was an Assistant Physical Therapist with St. Mary’s for 26 years until retiring in 2013. She was a fine Christian, serving the church faithfully for many years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was a loving, caring person. She loved to travel, and while she and Rene took 14 trips, her favorites were to Disney World with the kids.
