The Greyhounds have won back-to-back titles the last two years and with another strong roster under the direction of Hall of Fame coach Bonnie Fuller-Kask, the athletes believe anything is possible.
The Greyhounds finished with 371 points as a team, a dozen clear of runner-up Minneapolis Washburn, securing their first back-to-back championships since 2011 and 2012.
The Greyhounds took the top three spots in the boys pursuit, but Ely grabbed top honors in the relay. Proctor/Hermantown's Della Bettendorf won the girls pursuit, but East took the next three places.
The annual event was moved from its normal location at Snowflake Nordic Center to the Grand Avenue Nordic Center for lack of snow, which has been a problem for local skiers most of the season.
