Kelowna forward commits to Bulldogs
Ava MacLeod — a 17-year-old forward from Kelowna, British Columbia — has committed to the UMD women’s hockey program.
The 5-foot-6 lefty plays for RINK Hockey Academy in Kelowna. She had eight goals and two assists through nine games this season after totaling 11 goals and 12 assists in 23 games last year.
MacLeod announced her commitment Monday on Instagram. She’s the third commitment for UMD for the 2026-27 freshman class, joining the Gnetz sisters from Woodbury.
