Dorothy (Dixie) Joan Williams Lillmars

Dorothy (Dixie) Joan Williams, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 25th. Born on June 29, 1941, in Duluth, MN, Dixie was the cherished daughter of Dorothy and Willis Williams.

Dixie married Glenn Lillmars and raised four daughters: Glenda, Zoe, Suellen, and Anne. Later, Dixie’s life was filled with love and companionship, spending 28 years with her devoted partner, Richard Anderson. 

Dixie was known for her kindness to friends and strangers alike. She loved cars, baseball games, and spending time at her cabin on Lake Superior. 

Dixie is survived by her mother, Dorothy Williams; her sisters, Susan West and Deborah Robertson; her four daughters; six granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. 

Dixie’s warmth and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
