Although he admits to mostly chirping at his own teammates, including coach Scott Sandelin at the end of this episode, UMD junior defenseman Scott Perunovich doesn’t mind being given the title of best chirper on the team.

The two-time All-American and Hibbing native shares who, other than himself, are the best chirpers in the NCHC and when is the best time during a game to talk a little smack to his opponents.

A 2018 second-round pick of the St. Louis Blues, Perunovich also talks about his communication with that NHL team, his back injury from last year and how that played a role in his decision to come back for another season as a Bulldog.
