Temperatures stay chilly Thursday as much of the region will be starting in the single digits below zero. While the sun shines through for most of Thursday, highs will stay in the single digits and winds remain around 10-20 mph out of the northwest, so a chill will be felt through the day as well.

Thursday night looks to stay pretty similar to this morning, with clear skies for most allowing temperatures to drop quickly yet again and then stay in the single digits below zero for most of the night.

On Friday, temperatures do look to work their way up into the teens by the afternoon. Winds pick up through the day and we are keeping an eye on off-and-on chances for flurries and light snow in the afternoon and evening.

For the weekend, while we get a chance for light snow flurries to linger across northern Minnesota for Saturday, temperatures will be on the rise. Highs get into the 20s with winds staying moderate at 10-20 mph. By Sunday, we still hover around 20 degrees.
